Dear Historic Opels Friends,
with great pleasure we officially inform you of this wonderful news: SATURDAY 20 September 2025 we will meet at Como Lake with our beautiful Historic Opels, over 30 years old, for the event called “Historic Opels at the Museo Barca Lariana”.
As usual, in the intent of Opel Fans Italy and Opel Manta Fans Italy, the priority is to provide a wonderful setting for our beautiful cars and, also this time, thanks to the fundamental Patronage of the Museo Barca Lariana, the collaboration of the participating structures and the landscape of the beautiful Lake Como, we think we have succeeded.
A twinning between the Historic Opels and the biography of the Boats, which will tell us two millennia of nautical history on Como Lake. A unique heritage in the world, born from years of life and knowledge of Como Lake, which have led to the creation of a collection of inestimable value for the nautical sector and for the history of Italy, the Museo Barca Lariana (MBL). A complex that is destined to act as a driving force for the completion of an ambitious project worthy of a collection of boats that has no equal in Europe and, precisely on Saturday 20 September 2025 this context will be embraced by our beautiful Historic Opels.
For those who will register for the event, a parking space will be guaranteed inside the MBL area (until all available places are filled). Upon registration at the reception of the Museo Barca Lariana, a ticket (€12.00) will be issued which will include a welcome coffee and guided tours in Italian/English for the entire MBL; for those who join the Opel-lunch, they will have to add the fee that the restaurant will require with a price (€40.00) in agreement (to be paid during lunch). To optimize the organizational phases, we kindly ask you to confirm at the time of registration whether you also wish to participate in the Opel-lunch.
We attach to this email the flyer of the event with the hope of receiving your confirmation of participation as soon as possible, in order to better organize a day in one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, full of History, Nautical Culture and Historic Opels.
